Black Mammoth Tobacco seeds are a deep dark heirloom variety known for their robust growth and high-quality leaves. This Kentucky specialty tobacco produces large, pointed leaves on plants that grow to 5-6 feet tall.  The leaves are heavy and dark, making them ideal for wrapper or snuff tobacco.

Planting Instructions:

  • Indoor Start: Begin seeds indoors six weeks before the last frost.
  • Soil: Prefers soil with a pH of 5.8 and well-drained conditions.
  • Light: Requires light to germinate, so do not cover the seeds.
  • Transplanting: Transplant seedlings after all frost dangers have passed.
  • Watering: Water 1/2 inch weekly, avoiding overwatering.
